The Pulse

The Pulse is the heartbeat of New Haven high school students. This newspaper project invites any New Haven High School student who has an interest and passion for journalism, media or news,  to report and gather information about topics relevant  to them and their local community.

High School Juniors (Class of 2015), WHAT’S UP? We are excited to be offering a one-on-one college essay preparation workshop just for you.  All high school juniors who attend New Haven Public Schools are welcome to register. Lunch will be on us and we even have college students from around Connecticut coming to speak about transitioning to higher education. Make sure you are there, Saturday May, 10th at 115 Water Street – Metropolitan Business Academy 11:00 am – 2:30 pm.

2014 Writing Hub

Students of Coop High School After School (CAS) will be given the opportunity to work under the guidance of Rap Poet Self-Suffice and spoken word artist Aaron Jafferis in the after school program titled “RAP” (rhythm & poetry).
